'PAUSE OR QUIT?'

I saw this post from Danny Farrar the other day on Facebook.  It hit home, so I reached out and asked if I could share and Danny quickly gave me the ok.

Folks confuse pausing and quitting.

Even in the military, on a mission, you take moments to pause.

You take a knee and face out.

You use that time to get your bearings. Make sure you're on track, check on the welfare of your guys, to catch your breath, and to plan your next move.

But make no mistake. You make that next move.
No matter how painful the step. No matter how exhausted you are. You step.

If you are doing life right you will be exhausted. You will be beaten down. You will have moments of doubt. You will wonder if you can.

It is in that moment that you're either gonna become a success or a failure. Quitters say they can't and walk away.

Winners know they can.

They may not know how, but they know they will.

So, will your pause or will you quit?

The only thing riding on it is your dreams.

When building something; a relationship.  A family.  A Company.  A Platform. A Business. And the inevitable happens, you get a speed bump something goes haywire what choices do you make?

Do you push along and continue down that path and potentially end in self-destruction?

Do you pack up your bags and quit?

Or Do you pause, evaluate the situation and come up with another course of action for success?  In life and in business we are constantly dealing with failures and disappointment it is not the failure or disappointment that defines the individual, it is the reaction to that failure that ultimately defines you!

As we look to build, we have hit a speed bump, so now we are pausing and going ‘back to the lab’ to evaluate our next steps.  Trust me, we aren’t quitting, I don’t surround myself with quitters, we are fighters and we’ll figure this out!
